Today a video came to light of Harry Jackson and Stephanie Lundquist Arora mocking a severely autistic boy singing the national anthem at a school board meeting on Harry Jacksons shadow board program. If you think its OK for an adult to mock a disabled child. Its not OK, Stacy Langton said at the meeting.
Langston was referring to a YouTube show run by Jackson called the "Shadow Board" show. Jackson runs the program like a commentary where he and other guests comment on the Fairfax County school board. The show is not affiliated with Fairfax County.
Langton, a Fairfax County parent, has also been an outspoken critic of the Democratic-led school board.
7News looked at the video --- and its true. Jackson and Lundquist Arora appeared to be laughing at a student who was singing the national anthem at a school board meeting.

(1,323 posts)The Fairfax County School Board is heavily Democratic. This disgraceful incident will tank these candidates. The biggest issues for the Fairfax County school system lately have been the decision to stay closed during the Covid pandemic (no brainer IMO) and reevaluation of admittance policies to the nationally top rated Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (extremely controversial - relaxing the standards versus equal opportunity - but TJ has about 70% Asian students, which greatly complicates the discussion).

gratuitous
(82,849 posts)"Are you sorry for laughing at the student, or are you sorry you got caught?" But at least he went on camera; there's no video of Arora in the clip, just a statement issued by her mouthpieces. It's pretty scummy behavior, and what the public has come to expect from Republicans.
