CNN is once again the "Conservative Nazi Network"

It's what we've called it here in the past. With it's new marching orders from the billionaire owners to be more conservative (which these days means outright lying to people and 'flooding the zone with shit' a la Steve Bannon), that moniker once again fits. A bunch of talking heads tonight arguing that TFG's asinine letter asking for some non-existent privileges, a word salad which the judge could not even decipher and issued a "try again" request - is legit and that he could prevail - is astoundingly STUPID.

Jesus Christmas.

Those who have paid attention are aware of the directive to be "more friendly" to republicons. They are aware of the firing of Stelter and the cancellation of Reliable Sources. They read about the order to have more conservative guests and that the morning show is next on the chopping block.

That's what is "bullshit". Exploiting CNN's residual respectability is what is offensive on every level.

Why would anyone approve of that?

That us situation normal in television, said as someone who spent a career in the business.

The "more friendly" trope is an invention.

Calling CNN the Conservative Nazi Networks is offensive. You conspicuous dodged that.

But the directives from billionaire ownership taken into consideration with the CEO's comments make it clear that it will soon be appropriate.

If that's a victory you want to celebrate, one can only wonder why you are on a Democratic website.

..I'm not alone in it. If you're offended, then I'm sorry but it doesn't change the fact that billionaire owners are pushing the network to the far right and that is why Stelter was let go.

It's NOT a good thing.

You worked in the business, you say. Well it needs to change. A LOT. Not on YOU but the question you might ask is why it's perceived this way, rather than being insulted that it is.

Because it is. And when CNN changes, the snarky moniker will change. But it hasn't. Quite the opposite.

Fools News, OAN, and Newsmax, the trifecta, how do they not go batshit crazy on fellow citizens if they believe all this crap?

Notice any patterns with the ones going berserk?

Maybe time to just be one person one vote, and no party nonsense at all?

Just like the Germans in the 1930s!

Firing Stetler was just like ...

You know. Maybe let's just stop there. Before it starts to sound too out of perspective.

Although I do appreciate the symmetry of thinking that media not saying what I want, when I want, at all times are the Nazis in this scenario.

You have the need to use the term "Nazi", then use it where it is appropriate:

OAN host uses photo of Nazis, Nazi quote to justify banning books from schools

A host on the far-right One America News Network (OAN) used a photo of Nazis burning books in a segment justifying banning books from schools. She also referenced a quote that's widely credited to a Nazi propagandist.

On Monday's episode of her OAN show, Kara McKinney defended right-wing efforts to purge schools of supposedly objectionable material.

"I think banning pornographic books from schools is not only justifiable but the only moral option," she said. "It's our duty to purge our schools of such filth."

While McKinney says she is in favor of banning "pornographic" books, the justification is often just a euphemism used on the right for any material having to do with LGBTQ identity. She was responding to a post by Randi Weingarten, president of one of America's biggest teacher unions, who shared a list of books she claimed Florida was banning that turned out to be false.

Organizing American Nazis would be an appropriate use of the moniker, "Nazi".
