Republican who has praised Hitler and made racist remarks is projected to lose GOP primary in New York’s 23rd District
Carl Paladino is expected to lose the GOP nomination to state party chairman Nick Langworthy, the Associated Press projected. Paladino had praised Hitler as an inspiring leader and vowed to impeach President Biden on Day 1, as well as bring down Attorney General Merrick Garland. Langworthy is favored in November in a conservative seat; the Democratic nominee is Air Force veteran Max Della Pia.
