Rick "Nosferatu" Scott, from his Italian yacht cruise, disses Biden's stateside vacation

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) criticized President Joe Biden for vacationing –- while himself apparently on a yacht in Italy or just back from it.

“Another week of President Biden vacationing in Delaware vs. working at the White House. If he loves to travel so much, I’ve got some suggestions as to where he should go next,” tweeted Scott on Monday will [sic] a poll that had one option three times: The Southern Border, where there have been record illegal crossings by migrants."

By some accounts, TFG spent one whole year of his four years in office at his golf resorts. Biden actually puts in full days of work.

Trump: 'I would rarely leave the White House'

http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/245884-trump-i-would-rarely-leave-the-white-house

“I would rarely leave the White House because there’s so much work to be done,” Trump, 69, tells ITK. "I would not be a president who took vacations. I would not be a president that takes time off.”

----------

Yes, I would live in the White House because it’s the appropriate thing to do,” he says.

Just yesterday I was thinking, I haven’t heard anything about vacationing by Biden. Then I thought, but I bet as soon as he does the Rethugs have all the talking points ready to go and will blast him despite drumpf spending hundreds of days golfing.

And sure enough here I am less than a day later, reading this thread lol.

They went to Hilton Head, wasn't it? I would probably call that a vacation, even though Presidents really don't have vacation.

When Biden goes to Delaware, he's not on vacation. He is going to his home.

..simply the fact they are never on vacation. They are on duty 24/7/365 from the moment they take the oath till the moment their successor is sworn in.

“Presidents don’t get vacations — they just get a change of scenery,” Nancy Reagan once said in defense of her husband’s frequent trips to his ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif.

In the nuclear age, presidents may have only minutes to make a decision that could affect the entire world. They don’t so much leave the White House as they take a miniature version of it with them wherever they go. Some 200 people accompany a president on vacation — including White House aides, Secret Service agents, military advisers, and experts in communications and transportation — to ensure that, while on vacation, the president can do nearly everything he could accomplish in Washington.
