CNN cans one of its more honest journalists despite his show's popularity and profitability while Fox cuts TFG off (or seems to). He'll need to find or fund other sources to gratify his center-of-attention needs.
That equation is, after this bit of horse trading, no great awakening of truth but instead the media gets thrown even farther off the bias. It's one less voice sharing actual/factual truth to power with people for their edification.
