How did my home state go from a purple state to a light red one?

I saw the commercial by Panhandle Putin on CNN where he wades into the culture war and he sounded like he was running for governor of Alabama and not for governor of Florida. It makes me sad.

It's just sad. I'm glad I'm in the other sunshine state though we aren't without challenges.

are voting and more of their new voters are choosing RW than left.

Almost all Hispanic cultures, in the Americas anyway, have always been quite conservative with strong religious elements, excepting a couple of small island nations, so no big surprise I guess. It really IS very sad to see new Hispanic voters aligning with the trumpists, though. This era encourages the worst.

Even down here in South Florida you can just feel the fading of blue....
In our tri-county area Broward is still bright blue with twice as many Dems as repugs - but blue Palm Beach county above us and still blue for the moment Miami-Dade county below us seems to be shifting.

That being said, the good news is that there are a LOT of "No Party Affiliation" voters in Florida (3,909,340 to be exact) and if they vote with us Dems, there is still a chance.

Gerrymandering and schoolboard takeovers. But it is going to turn bluish purple this year. Rubio, an incumbent Cuban-American republican darling is trailing Val Demmings, an African-American Democratic woman.

Crist will trounce desatan. Crist has already come out swinging, calling desatan a dictator wannabe. Crist has legitimate bona fides with the business community, moderate republicans and of course all Democrats.

We've Got This!!!
