Also wondering how many people voted for Begich because of his uncle. Only time will tell.

And wouldn't some "D" voters put Begich as their second choice just to push out Palin?
I think Begich and Palin finish 1-2

The current placement is:
Peltola: 1st
Palin: 2nd
Begich: 3rd
When Ranked-Choice voting is applied next week, Begich will be the first eliminated. Any Peltola voters who selected Begich as #2 will have those votes voided.The only #2 votes that will be applied will be from those who voted for Begich as #1. The question is: is Palin too extreme for the Begich voters?

Palin needs to carry over 63% of the Begich voters to overtake Peltola.
