Have a friend whining about the student loan forgiveness. Says, he planned well and paid his loans off, others should have planned better too. Of course I know that his parents footed the bill for 80% of his tuition and costs, but that's besides the point.

He has 3 kids. So my response was, "Yeah, and all you parents out there failing to plan need to stop taking the massive tax credits you get for breeding that you expect the rest of us to foot the bill on too."

… of his education costs is “besides the point.” It’s a major reason why he’s been able to complete paying off his education loan.

There are a whole lot of students who didn’t/don’t get to enjoy that privilege, and are much deeper in debt as a result.
