(206,247 posts)And the panel is just perfect to discuss the current news about what's happening right now. I'm always hoping for the right panel to weigh in on the breaking news and I think we have the right ones this week.

(11,654 posts)FUCK BILL MAHER ALL TO HELL. FUCK BILL MAHER TWICE ON FRIDAY NIGHTS.
The press buried the Hunter Biden story to get Joe Biden elected and Hillary Clinton "ran a terrible a campaign." Anyone who still thinks Bill Maher is on your side needs to take off the blinders.
I never have considered Maher to be above average in intelligence. He tells some good jokes that he and others write. Vut hopefully no one looks to him for insight, or is foolish enough to even consider what "side" he is on.
There are, from time to time, interesting guests on the show. If I know someone decent is on, I sometimes watch him.

(11,654 posts)My wife ordinarily doesn't let me watch because I get too angryand almost break things. She fell asleep early tonight and I made poor entertainment choices for myself.

(73,627 posts)he said something that was 100% incorrect about the Beatles. I can't respect anyone who does that. Is nothing sacred?
Perhaps the funniest thing was when he threatened to personally throw an annoying audience member out, and moved with what he thought looked like intensity across his stage. Then he stopped. He still brags about it, as if he had bit Mike Tyson's ear off. Poodle.

(19,147 posts)Guests were great. Bill played the villain. And he made some really good points about Rushdies assault, but I feel like liberals arent guilty defending Islam for many years.

(206,247 posts)And they came at just the right time considering all the breaking news this week. And of course Bill likes to stir things up - remember "Politically Incorrect?" And I agree with you about "New Rules," though I wasn't surprised that Bill brought this up yet again - Salman Rushdie has been a frequent panelist and long time friend of the show and I can't blame Bill for being upset.

(206,247 posts)Just dawned on me that I never did watch Overtime! And I was looking forward to it with these two great guests. But, like the terrific discussion with Ali Velshi and former Senator Doug Jones, I'm sure it's not nearly long enough...
