if tfg is indicted, or if a gj witness blabs.

So far, neither of those have happened.

My guess is someone who signed out the docs and anyone who put them in boxes may be charged, but tfg will skate.

This doj has no stomach for indicting tfg. They don't even seem to want to investigate him. Just those around him, and not even those closest to him.

They have to put on a show and make it look like they are doing something. That's what this feels like.

But consider this. Mal is what amounts to a major crime scene. Evidence was found, crimes were/are being committed. It appears the doj isn't even sure they have recovered all of the documents.

Yet all they did was a sweep for physical documents. They didn't even seize electronic devices. They haven't seized trumps phones. They haven't checked logs on copiers or fax machines.

They haven't searched any other trump properties. They haven't dragged any of his inner circle to Florida for a grand jury (or they are being uncharacteristically quiet).

None of that points to an active investigation of tfg. It points to a reluctant doj and a quivering resolve.

I'm sick of this waiting. They have tfg dead to rights on a strict liability crime and they could arrest him yesterday. They havent.

This is from the supporting memorandum:

https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/22267147/notice-of-filing-of-redacted-memorandum.pdf

The government has carefully reviewed the affidavit and has identified five categories of information that must remain under seal in order to protect the safety of multiple civilian witnesses whose information was included throughout the affidavit and contributed to the
- finding of probable cause, as well as the integrity of the ongoing investigation. In the attached chart, the government has identified each category that applies to information the government proposes to redact. Some information falls within more than one category. The categories, described further below, are (1) information from a broad range of civilian witnesses who may be subject to "witness intimidation or retaliation," D.E. 80 at 9; (2) information regarding investigative avenues and techniques that could provide a roadmap for
· potential ways to obstruct the investigation, id. at 9-10; (3) information whose disclosure is prohibited under Rule 6(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure ("Rule 6(e)" ), such as grand jury subpoenas, testimony, and related material, id. at 10; (4) information whose
_disclosure could risk the safety of law enforcement personnel, id. at 9; and (5) information _whose disclosure could harm "legitimate privacy interests" of third parties, id.
