Are the Republicans in a secret caucus tonight?

I would not be surprised.

They will need to take another vote whether or not they still want to stand behind and support Donald Trump?

We will need to watch their comments in the next couple of days to see what they decided?

Nothing has broken their loyalty up to this point. Will they be able to excuse espionage?

They could have stopped him at two impeachments but instead inspired more bad behavior. Sucks to be puke at all levels.

they don't seem to be a crowd that's in favor of a large electorate. I think they just retreat from public view to await their marching orders/talking points which they will slavishly parrot tomorrow.

I imagine them waiting next to their fax machines for a list of talking points, (although by now they've probably upgraded to an email distribution list for said talking points -- I just enjoy imagining them rushing out to stock up on fax paper). Probably they've gotten them by now, as 4 AM Russian time is well into prime hacker hours and it would behoove their Kremlin overlords to have the message out to the bot-farms by now.

It takes extra effort to come up with new material. They'll be back by the Sunday shows with a fresh new chorus of poutrage and accusations.

11. No doubt, and they stall with Hunter Biden's laptop and Hillary Clinton in the meantime.

Hunter Biden's laptop still seems a little bit nebulous. How do you talk about Trump stealing classified information and deflect to some kind of outrage about a laptop of the son of the current president? They're still working on it. And of course, just invoke the words "Hillary Clinton."

But yeah, by Sunday they should have a new script to try out.
