Mastriano got punked

Someone who claims to be a high schooler from Connecticut posted a made-up poll to test a hypothesis:
snip
Republicans attack the credibility of established polling firms that release surveys with results they don’t like but take seriously and push polls even if they “don’t seem legitimate.”
snip
What we don’t get: Why did Mastriano and campaign advisor Jenna Ellis leave up those social media posts for five days — as it soon became clear it was a hoax and the “pollster” had pranked him?
snip

Mastriano grabbed it, retweeted it, and retweeted followers who retweeted it, ad nauseum. I guess they left it up because even if it was fake they thought it was good news.

good story:

I can't decide whether to love this or hate it...
