A Weird Overlooked Detail: 'Moving Vans in Front of Mar-a-Lago' Jan. 18th

https://www.politicususa.com/2022/08/26/moving-vans-mar-a-lago.html

ithout a doubt, experts have been on television all day pointing out the most “gravely serious,” in the words of Frank Figliuzzi, elements of the Affidavit, the “Hum-int” portion, that portion that impacts spies – loyal to the United States – around the world, and should their identity get out, would be a death sentence. No doubt, most of our attention should focus on these disturbing details. But on page 11, paragraph 30, there is a very weird detail that, for all we know, impacts every other revelation.

Boxes Containing Documents Were Transported from the White House to A-far-a-Lago

30. According to a CBS Miami article titled ”Moving Tmcks Spotted At Mar-a-Lago,” published Monday, January 18, 2021, at least two moving trucks were observed at the PREMISES on January 18, 2021

Who guarded the truck? Anyone? Given that the next entire chapter, the next three pages, are all blacked out, clearly, the FBI believes that the documents came down in what the Miami Herald calls “two moving trucks.”

Were these intentionally anonymous moving trucks? If a president was moving personal and important stuff, wouldn’t it come down by military plane or at least a military truck? Wouldn’t it be guarded? These are the president’s things!

Unless the goal was to get this stuff out of the White House with the least amount of attention possible.

Nixon at least had a negotiated, disgraceful exit from the WH. What does Trump have? More criminal indictments!

2. I'm pretty sure the outgoing president's household is packed by government

Employees and moved by moving vans to the ex-president's new home. It might be if Trump's toadies or Trump himself packed those boxes the movers might have neglected to inspect the already packed boxes seeing how chaotic those last days were (because Trump didn't expect to be moving).

But seriously that was something that should be brought out more. This goes from OMG the chaos to Trump's minions controlling the process more than we thought. This means he's more responsible and more conniving..

he'd have left the place a mess like it was one of his own hotels.

3. Like the moving trucks spotted outside the Obama's new residence 3 days before Trump's inauguration?

With just three days to go until President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, movers were spotted Tuesday hauling boxes and furniture off of two big trucks and into the new D.C. digs of Barack, Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama.

7. Yeah. Private companies based in DC.

(Then again, they were moving mostly within DC.)

Masters Moving and Security Storage (United Van Lines) are two images I pulled up quickly enough.

Don't see obvious security, but then again security's going to be around because the pictures were taken at the WH.

I always found that security can be found in anonymity: When they transport nuclear material on the interstate, there's a reason it's unguarded and unmarked: If people knew it was there or that it might be important it would attract attention. But unmarked trucks on an interstate?

12. My point was largely that this is something which is regularly reported on

during a switch from one president to another. So reporting on moving vans being spotted would be expected - and doesn't indicate anything nefarious (in and of itself).

I would expect to see a newspaper article - probably with a photo or two - within the week before the end of a presidency. I wouldn't expect security to follow the vehicles moving the president's and his family's belongings to their new residence.

Aside from some of the aides who knew about his hoarding of classified/restricted information, no one would have expected the need for a security team for personal belongs of the nature which are ordinarily moved form the White House to a personal residence.

Any reasonably careful person would have had security for the kinds of things Trump was moving - BUT - that phrase does not apply to Trump and his family. If they saw no reason to have security at Mar-a-Largo, they would have no reason to have security following it there. And - if they were slightly smarter, and were reasoning out the best way to get the documents out without suspicion, they would know that having a security detail go along with their belongings would attract attention (of the movers, or of others who suspected the contents).

Were they on duty while the truck driver took on fuel and fried food at the occasional Truck World?

I'd really like to know!

8. I recall posted here on DU a tweet with the image of a huge solid black truck way before Jan.

sometime before or just after the election,.. I just can't remember exactly the time frame except it was before Jan.

It seemed unusually early, and I wondered if it was about stealing national security stuff, along with items belonging to the White House, and Melania's stuff. It was all black with no logo visable in the image.

Parked what appeared might have been alongside the East Wing. Not sure though, and long forgotten until this whole topic came up, I have been thinking about that one ever since news broke of national security docs stolen and stored at maralago.

the image didn't include persons of any sort, or items being packed or unpacked.

Drat, I wish i book marked it now.

Overwhelmed at the time, I'm sure.
