Dude is awesome, super funny. I love that song too. Pretty sure he played it that night, and this looks like it's from right around that time, his age is pretty similar. He's always looked amazingly young for his age.

He fronted a band called The Modern Lovers in the early 70's, featuring Jerry Harrison of (later) Talking Heads fame.

They put out one album (The Modern Lovers), it's pretty highly critically regarded. Music nerds definitely know of this album, it's kinda legendary.

The first song on it, Roadrunner, recorded in like 1972, is considered by some to be the first punk rock song.

never learned to 2-step until I was in my late 20s and some lesbian friends taught me. They also demonstrated flammability of non-dairy powdered coffee creamer, something else I was inexplicably unaware of. This all happened the same drunken night at Greune Hall in Gruene, TX in the mid 1990s.
