...that he intentionally and secretively took highly-sensitive documents to Maralago?
That it was not "just politics" but it was a crime?
That he sold some of these secrets to our adversaries and enemies?
That he planned to use the documents to enrich himself by blackmailing other world leaders?
That he ignored a subpoena from the Dept of Justice and had his lawyers lie to them, by telling them there were no more classified documents at Maralago?
That there are still Top Secret documents missing and no one can account for them?
What should be done about it?
Put him back into the White House in 2024?

(5,125 posts)Take him to the nice White House with locks on the doors to keep the MOST IMPORTANT people inside and safe from the rest of the world that is so jealous of them....
If they sell it right, he will think he's still pResident and yet will do no further harm as all his documents will be done by crayon from now on.
Or execute him as a traitor.

(111,110 posts)Should Trump be prosecuted if all the charges are true? Should he be tried for seditious conspiracy for an attempted coup? Was it really an attempted coup?
He is a brazen scofflaw.

(7,667 posts)happen. Why would it? Political crimes have been ignored for centuries. White collar crimes have been ignored for centuries. Wealthy people, even if convicted (a big if) are given just a slap on the wrist or a fine that is just considered the "cost of doing business".
Idealism is not compatible with Capitalism.
The strategy that capitalism relies on to maintain its grip is ensuring that the masses of people remain confused. The fact that the masses envision the very capitalist system that is responsible for all the suffering that exists on earth today, as the only system that can bring them peace and salvation is amazing. For capitalism, ensuring the masses believe this, and never ever question it, is essential to its survival. As a result, capitalism has spent the last five centuries consolidating lies about its origins and its day to day existence. Those lies are not just individual misspoken statements. They are systemic manifestations (white supremacy, patriarchy, homophobia, individualism, elitism, idealism) that are reinforced 24/7/365.

Nuclear weapons should be banned, other than a handful to target a possible imminent comet or asteroid threat.
