The mail ballot deadline for the Alaska House Special Election is Tuesday (8/31)

As soon as they're counted, RCV will be applied (most probably to Nick Begich)

Second Place votes will be applied to Sarah Palin and Mary Peltola.

Whomever has the most votes at that point will win and take office immediately.
