So motivation and enthusiasm have little to do with it.

Plus, California. I literally don't have to do anything to do it.

3. California has some pretty contentious local races

Especially if you live in the greater Los Angeles metro area. The Sheriff, Mayor, and several congress races are some of the closest watched elections in the nation. Your vote will definitely mean a lot

Rootin for you. I'm really holding out hope that we can finally get rid of Villanueva in LA County.

9. Same. Since gaining the franchise in 1976 I have never missed voting in an election.

Even little municipal elections with almost nothing on the ballot.

I always vote. My wife always votes.

And since he was a baby we've taken our boy with us to the polls (until Covid). He first helped me ink Obama (twice) in 2008 and (finally, turning 18) he gets to vote himself this Fall.

Definitely motivated.

Have not missed an election since 1971.

Only non-Democratic Party or position ever voted GOP (or 3rd party) was for John Anderson to slow Reagan in 1980 CA POTUS primary.

Wish the Democratic Party had provided more candidates I could be excited about (like Obama) and had no choice but to vote for so many duds too often.

I am a senior in severely declining health and would like to more see younger, vibrant candidates with a long future.

I have voted in every election since I turned 18 in 1976.

What motivation are you writing about? Shouldn’t everybody vote in every election?

If you don’t vote, shut the fuck up and sit down.

Missed one primary when I was in the hospital having a baby, but other than that, I've voted in every election since I turned 18.

But, I am optimistic about this one. They have gone too far and keep pushing farther.

I'll bet your all middle-aged. It's the younger generation that needs to be energized. The mids have historically been tough on Dems for just that reason. On the bright side Dems have a better chance of getting the young vote. They just have to put the right folks front and center

Is that at this point millennials now are up to their forties. This is a group that is far more liberal than the generation before them and.a general age group with a higher voter turnout range.
