So what will the time line be for Trump's arrest if it happens

So does the FBI announce, that they have gone to a prosecutor and asked for him to be charged?

Does the Prosecutor then says (weeks later) that he will be charged.

Then the arrest?

or can trumps lawyers appeal the prosecutor from charging him???

Or do they just come out and arrest him?

that they believe they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt all elements of the specific crimes charged, they will present the evidence to a grand jury. This would probably not be made public, and grand jury proceedings are secret. If the grand jury returns an indictment, and the indictment is unsealed, TFG could move to quash the indictment if there are claims of procedural irregularities (but there wouldn't be). He would be allowed to turn himself in, probably not arrested or perp-walked, and he would not be in jail while awaiting trial (white-collar criminals rarely are). But TFG is a daft bastard, and God knows what he'd do if he were indicted, and it's possible the federal marshals would have to go and pick him up. Anything can happen.

Trump could request a dismissal, but if the judge says no, it’s off to trial they go.

I just hope it's after the midterms so as not to energize Rs to go vote.
Lady Justice moves slow nowadays, so it should be after.
