Will Merrick Garland wait until the Jan 6th investigation is completed before making any indictments

Then, he will announce them all at once?

It could be like a laundry list of charges against various individuals.

Whether or not he adds espionage to the charges will be determined by whether or not classified documents are missing or there is evidence that some documents went to a third party or country?

The obstruction charges are very strong in both the stolen documents and the attack on our Capitol cases.

There could also be a credible charge of seditious conspiracy, in my opinion.

There could be several confederates involved in this conspiracy.

But, I do not believe AG Garland will indict on any of these charges until both of these investigations are complete.

DOJ and the Jan 6 Committee conduct parallel, but separate investigations. I doubt DOJ will sit on their hands waiting for the Jan 6 Committee to complete their work.

It is more likely that Garland's timing will have more to do with the upcoming elections, for ethical reasons. And I doubt he will announce all indictments at once. Garland's strategy is to gradually advance up the food chain and see if the "smaller fish" will drop some clues for him in the process that will hook the biggest fish.

The DoJ needed the the info from the J-6 instead of gathering their own.

That's their mission: to inform the public. DOJ's mission is different, and it requires secrecy. The difference in their respective missions doesn't signify in any way who's been out in front of whom. Nor does the DOJ's need for documents in possession of the J-6 committee. We only see the tip of the iceberg, and it happens to be what the J-6 committee has been telling us. We know nothing about what the situation is behind the scenes. Drawing conclusions based on incomplete information is a pretty futile task.

This portensious probability dominates the votescape. Historians will always ask, was it intentional or coincidental?
Could be that those historians in the future will see more clearly just how critical the answer to that question actually is.

And if the Republicans win back the House, there may be a slew of indictment between Election day and the first week in January?

If the Democrats keep the House and Senate, they can work on their schedule without worrying about the Republican agenda.

All will be undone by a lawless Republican Congress and Senate if they take power. Then all the excuses and legalistic naysaying and ho-huming will show itself as the death knell it was/is. It is not in our budget to afford either house to become Republican if our children are to survive beyond serfdom.
