wouldn't a 'special master' be required to have top level security clearance?

very limited. First, her agenda was on display when she noted she was likely to appoint someone, before the DOJ had responded to the Trump filing. Judges aren't supposed to lean one way or the other without hearing from both sides. Second, this isn't a case such as with Rudy or Cohen, where communications between lawyers and clients are at issue.

More importantly, were she to appoint a master to review the documents, it would have to be an attorney from one of the Intelligence Community at a high security level. We know that Trump had intelligence documents from at least the FBI and CIA. And in this case, where it appears likely now that Trump "shared" intelligence, no one at thatlevel is pro-Trump. But they are anti-leaking of intelligence.

Trump appointed Judge trying to slow down the investigation. She shot off her mouth by speaking before hearing from the Justice Department answered. They already handled it! They are the experts.

right wing nut jobs would attempt to swarm her, not that that would bother her though.

can shut the hell up about it. Otherwise, it does appear that procedure was skipped for possibly political reasons.

The government paid attorneys work for the USA and in turn, they work for you and me. The sitting president would have stronger cause to decide if a document shared between them and the previous president was privileged. In the case of a situation were an attack on the capitol and espionage issues that risk the lives of assets and agents, the current president would have much more say than the impeached idiot that stole documents after going on and on about made up security issues with all of his opponents at every level. He can't claim ignorance of guilt since he placed that guilt on multiple innocent people and then escalated the punishment he wanted to happen.

Then there is the issue that the judge involved in the "Special Master" thing should at most have mentioned it to another judge and then got herself out of the loop since she has a connection and debt to the jerk she is suddenly showing up to help.

Third, and this is the big issue, WTF, she is trying to step into a law suit to slow it down, that in any other case would have started with the accused seeing a warrant. The moment a secret document was found, the next thing we would normally see, is the accused disappearing and needing all conversations, papers, and materials exchanged to be searched, witnessed and approved. This case is already slower than it would be for anyone else.

Anyone other than a high ranking Republican politician would have been subject to immediate incarceration.

I can understand her wanting to help TFG. I doubt TFG appointed a lot of people he didn't either have compromat on or was recommended by someone holding compromat on TFG.
