People on MSNBC are once again debating whether it is in the best interest of the country to prosecute Trump or not. They are saying Garland will have to decide. I call bullshit.

Trump and people like Graham at this very moment are calling for violence. Trump is still lying about the election. In a way they are still attempting a coup. There is only one way to end this nightmare, the terror of Trump.

It you let a festering wound go untreated what happens to the patient? In this case the patient is democracy.

In my opinion, the Jan 6th investigations are still the best way to bring Trump and his band of traitors down. The evidence is overwhelming and Garland can indict scores of people. From the scores of fake electors, White House staff, Republican politicians, people outside the Whitehouse who all helped Trump attempt to over throw our country, Garland can lance the wound.

By indicting scores of people Garland will send a very clear message to the American people and all the traitors. This is no dam witch hunt, your lies, propaganda won't save you, this was an attempted coup and everyone involved will be prosecuted.

Lance the dam wound and save the patient.

3. I've Decided To Cut Back Substantially On Watching MSNBC & CNN News Coverage

At this point, I'm pretty solidified in the belief that No Matter What Is Uncovered, TFG is Not going to be indicted.

I wish it were different. If I turn out to be wrong, and one day I turn on the computer to a headline saying that he has been, then I will be more happy than you could imagine. I'd probably spend the subsequent week glued to the news 24/7.

But at this point, tuning in to hear the latest criminal activity du jour, followed by the paid pundits predicting that THIS TIME is going to be different, only to be pedaled back days/weeks later, is just too frustrating and anxiety inducing.

I've come to the realization, that some are fortunate enough to be Above The Law, and that if you're powerful enough, you can get away with anything. More intense crimes than those which would put an ordinary person in jail.

That will end our democracy as we know it. All of our lives will be for changed forever. The rule of law that supports, protects our democracy will cease to exist. You should hope you are wrong.

I understand the hopelessness you are feeling. But I refuse to believe someone like Trump can destroy over two hundred years of our history. Our nation has faced much worse than Trump. Our nation has been beaten, battered and abused many times in the past. We paid a price and then recovered. We became better. I believe it's going to happen again.

Because someone is innocent until proven guilty, you hear a helluva lot more talk about potential innocence than you do of potential criminality. Because the justice system moves so slowly, there's a huge vacuum in time that allows these invocations of innocence to be repeated ad nauseum, until the public is conditioned to believe them, no matter what the truth may be, and no matter how preposterous the claims of innocence may be.

Later, when actual justice is dispensed, the people scream "injustice" because they've convinced themselves that the bullshit they've been listening to for months is the actual truth.
