Tony Ornato was at the center of Cassidy Hutchinsons testimony about being told that Trump was irate when informed he could not go to the Capitol on January 6. He left the Secret Service today.

(58,785 posts)If we just have too much personal freedom here for comfort (that damned "right to pursuit of happiness thing!" ), you could try to find a country where personal freedom is satisfactorily limited but fascism nonexistent.
Good luck on that one, though, since suppression of individual liberties and RW authoritarianism kinda tend to go together.
I'd suggest a socialist LW authoritarian state as an obvious place to find your mix, but they've all failed the dream. Not only is corruption rampant, but most wannabe-socialist governments long ago morphed to authoritarian dictatorships/central committees and/or -- guess it! -- yes, may have ended up embracing fascistic elements or downright fascism.
