People mistaking thought roe would never be overturned, then they did it,

Now minorities, disabled, and seniors should be scared they could be next in line to lose rights, benefits, and healthcare from the fascist GOP we have now.

A lot of this could have been avoided if enough of us had turned out and voted. Straight Democratic the last few election cycles. As it stands a minority of extreme conservatives have more power than the majority.

In my experience going back more than 30 years, almost all of the "they'll never actually do it, it's too useful for fundraising/vote-getting" talk has come from the centrists, not from the lefties.

Anecdotal to be sure, but so is what forms your opinion.

Considered it "settled law". Even potential USSC Justices promoted the myth that it would not be overturned. This is not conjecture, those are the facts.
