What we learned overnight after the DOJ released filings?

No wonder they went through Melania’s closets! Trump moved boxes after he was told to lock up the papers in a storage room with a secured lock!

Once again! Trump thinks he can do whatever he think? As Lee Corso says “not so fast”! The DOJ are moving so fast and have facts to back up their evidence against Trump!

Trump's lawyers have only today to reply to DOJ's filings, per the judge's order. SunSeeker Aug 2022 #1

That's very little time, not that they really have any real argument to present.

when a person is cremated, why is there a casket? The people I know who were cremated, their ashes were given back to the family in a special container. Sometimes that container is buried, but oftentimes not.

This also brings up the question of why the casket needed 10 pall bearers. I helped carry my grandfather’s casket. He was a large man, but only needed six people to carry his coffin.

I suppose counter arguments would be that wealthy people can afford to splurge on a funeral. If they wanted a casket for a pound of ashes that’s their prerogative. As for the pall bearers, maybe they didn’t want to exclude anyone from the ceremony… 🤷

I agree that the casket needs to be looked at, as well as other Trump properties. However, all we have is speculation; would a judge find this sufficient for a warrant? I don’t think it would suffice for a normal person, let alone someone who is getting as much (undeserved) deference as Trump is.

it was a ridiculous QAnon-like conspiracy theory. Now, knowing what we know, I’m not so sure. What better place to squirrel away, say, the most damaging as well as valuable “evidence’” — for personal protection and future use? In fact, it’s Trumpian in the highest degree.
