I cannot but think of Jamal Khashoggi, WashPost journalist, who was assassinated in October of 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The Saudis sent a team of assassins to take him out. It has been suspected that they got a tip to his location.

Where did they get that "tip"?

It is worth noting that Trump and Kushner had very little to say about it when it happened. They did not want to mess up their new relationship with MBS, the new Saudi strong man.

Trump and the Saudis have been strengthening that relationship since that time, culminating in the golf tournament a couple of months ago at Bedminster, NJ.

Donnie has a hard on for the PGA as well.

The PGA had the PGA Championship scheduled at Bedbugminster for this year, but canceled it after the January 6, 2021 insurection at the Capitol.

The PGA also canceled the PGA Grand Slam tournament at Trump National in Los Angeles in 2015 after his disparaging remarks about Mexicans.

The PGA has not officially announced a lifetime ban on Trump courses, but they have scheduled no tournaments at Trump owned golf courses through 2034. That's as far out - time wise - as the PGA announces golf tournaments.

So Donnie - always one who holds a grudge - scheduled the LIV Bone-saw tournament at Bedbugminster, and I suppose he'll be a willing recipient of any further largesse from the House of Saud in the United States.

Oh, and of course Trump has filed multiple law suits against the PGA for the "hundreds of millions" of dollars he already spent on these tournaments. 🙄 I shit you not.
