🌧 Where are the hurricanes? Its the last day of August, and there hasnt been a named storm in the Atlantic Hurricane Alley this monththe first time thats happened in 25 years. Atlantic hurricane season lasts through November, though, and meteorologists are already monitoring a storm that could grow into something significant by Labor Day.

(33,198 posts)He is convinced it is going to be a rough cold winter locally. He bases it on the hot dry drought Spring and then the spike in moisture here recently.
I'm inclined to believe he knows what he's talking about.

Not so good for the disaster fear porn peddlers on TWC! Quietest hurricane season since 1941!!! Predictions were all wrong, poor babies.
