Quinnipiac: Biden's Approval Rating Surges After Hitting Low Mark In July

Last edited Wed Aug 31, 2022, 05:10 PM - Edit history (1)

The Quinnipiac poll has long given Biden some of this worst numbers, but they see a big jump in their latest edition:

Six weeks after President Joe Biden scored the lowest marks of his presidency, his job approval rating has jumped to a level not seen since September 2021. Americans give President Biden a negative 40 - 52 percent job approval rating compared to the negative 31 - 60 percent job approval rating he received in July, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea-ack) University national poll of adults released today.

Among other findings:

Americans approve of Biden's student loan forgiveness, 53-43.
Americans think TFG acted inappropriately on classified documents, 59-26. By 50-41, they think he should be prosecuted.
Dems have a lead in the generic ballot, 47-43.

I truly think the fact that there is movement on Trump and people have some optimism that he will be held accountable has given people some hope that the scourge will be cleaned up. They voted for Biden to get rid of Trump and for 1 1/2 years he has still been the focus of the media.
