A major golf tournament was supposed to be held at Bedminster, this year, the PGA Championship. The PGA pulled the plug on Bedminster. Trump was furious. We all know how Trump holds grudges, he never ever lets them go. Hear me out.
The new Saudi golf league, LIV, is trying to destroy the PGA, a hard task, but it is trying. It is paying enormous money to enlist PGA golfers. I mean this one relatively unknown golfer of LIV played 3 tournaments, never finished higher than 9th, and made over 1 million dollars, and then he quit. Did I mention that LIV just played a tournament at Bedminster?
There is a Saudi-backed women's tournament, not LIV, this week I believe, at one of Trump's courses in the Bronx. That's 2 golf tournaments at Trump courses, coincidence? Trump also owns golf courses in Scotland, and Scotland has shunned his courses for the British Open. Look for LIV to play tournaments there in the near future.
