Back in the day it would be.

No wonder we are where we are. People watching Law And Order and Press Your Luck as this country slides into fascism.

I love Biden’s message. Everyone needs to hear how MAGA republicans are reprehensible.

It was termed as a “major” address, and when I saw it wasn’t going to be a WH event with press I thought for sure the networks would cover it. Nope. ABC usually has the afternoon events, but it has Press Your Luck on tonight.

Broadcast media are definitely showing they are a part of the problem. Keeping people mindlessly entertained while the country burns. As I said, this is a consequential speech, giving a warning. It is not everyday POTUS speaks like this.

Just what would be important enough to merit their attention, I wonder?

On MSNBC it's much better.

was very reassuring. I was glad Pres Biden was quick to clarify that he was not painting all Repubs with the same brush - or he was in danger of turning off a lot of sane people we need to keep on friendly terms. He's doing a good job of going through this issues w/MAGAs. This is a tough call to make a speech about this.

He's named MAGAs as a clear and present danger to democracy - go, Joe!
