Herb Kohler has died...

I knew him somewhat, met him through his brother Fred.

He was a great guy.

KOHLER, Wis. (WBAY) - Herbert Kohler Jr. passed away at the age of 83 on Saturday in Kohler, Wisconsin.

as a clay major in chi, it was a field trip for many of us. valuable for a bunch who might never fire a kiln bigger than a car.
they included clay artists in the business plan, in their space, and put good money into that. clay wasnt just raw material to them.
