Will the Special Master review the files in a SCIF or at the NARA (Archives) or will ...?

...he/she take them to the storage room at Mar-a-Lago?

If they believe the files are sensitive, they may choose to examine them in a secure location.

If they believe Trump had every right to the documents, they may choose to rent a room at Mar-a-Lago, close to the pool, and spend a few hours each day checking them out?

Where will the documents be taken?

Our allies distrust us even more.

And the GOP continues to gain ground we thought we had won.

Trump can't appoint him or her, and the judge can't just appoint one without both parties agreeing to that person. Also, the SM has to be qualified to understand what the special privileges as called out are and how it can legally be identified.

I assume the DOJ appeal will request that a criminal investigation can go forward while a Special Master is being assigned and will agree that any evidence found that might fall under attorney/client privilege or executive privilege can be removed as evidence in a prosecution for unlawfully taking and handling/disposing of official government records, classified or not.

On noon of 20 Jan, 2020, TFG's "executive privilege" officially ended. He was no longer a government employee and had no rights to possess those records. And he becomes as responsible for whatever happened to those records as any private citizen is.

Both parties must agree so all she has to do is keep turning down people until she gets one tRump accepts and that can take who knows how long. This is one big cluster F.

The docs “so quickly”.

Or if they just left them at Mar-A-Lago, like the MAGA’s wanted.

Then the SM could have simply perused them right at the resort where they belong. And enjoyed a round of golf for their trouble……
