1. You have 30 days to file a notice of appeal. Assuming the DOJ does appeal Judge Cannon will

probably stay (postpone) the portions of her order pertaining to the selection of the SM pending appeal. This can and probably will drag on for months which was the intent all along ......

Is she a biased jurist? Who did she communicate with before making this decision? etc?

5. Generally no. Bias and conflict of interest are high bars for a party to actually prove against

a judge. Generally Judges will recuse themselves over the appearance of a conflict of interest well below the line of if they would be subject to actual judicial sanction. But it is basically a self governing system.

7. Yes, the DOJ can ask for whatever it wants and the courts can move rather quickly (at least in

'court time') when they want to. But since the classified documents are now secure the need for an expeditious appeal ruling may well be moot.
