Today, Senator Cash (R - Anderson) tried to explain why it’s okay for 16 and 17 year olds to get married, but not to have access to contraception. Don’t take my word for it. Listen yourself: #StopTheBanSC

bloviating on contraception in marriage, as if it's their business?

Why would he think it's a good idea for teens to get married and have babies at 16-years-old, this saddling them and their babies to a like of unfulfilled education and life experience gained during maturation before taking on parenthood?

The level of stupidity is mind boggling. I live in South Carolina ( originally from Connecticut) about 2 to 3 miles over the border in the Charlotte, NC area. When you cross into South Carolina, it feels like one had to pass a low intelligence exam to be admitted. Anyone showing the least bit of brain power, emotional intelligence, common sense, etc don’t seem to be here in any great quantity.

By contrast, Charlotte has a large number of sophisticated smart people. Some from the south of course and they are the smart ones. Whenever I travel, I usually tell people I’m from the Charlotte NC area, not a state known for being at the top of the dunce column. Other wise I start hearing things like, oh you poor bastard etc.

There are certain areas like Charleston SC, which are like Charlotte, where it’s a purple town,
