threat read "ima shoot up today 9/7/22 at 11 dont come to school"
Local police have essentially surrounded the school, helicopters in the air, roads blocked off
A few years ago, there was a series of fake threats that all had to be taken seriously, of course, at the two HS nearest us. All ended up being pranks as social media made it so easy for that to happen anonymously.
Sick of this crap.

(53,342 posts)Since an image of someone typing a message was airdopped to students' phones, cops should be able to find out what phone originally sent the image and where that person got the message in the first place

I hear another helicopter headed in the general direction of the school.
EDIT: But judging from the threat pics I've seen, looks like someone was typing up a message (but not sending it), did a screenshot, air dropped it to some students.
