Not 10 seconds after he said the thing in OP, he went on to say he doesn't want to see a former president indicted even though he thinks it's a clear case of law breaking.... so essentially, he believes that being a president will somehow make you above the law when you are in and out of office.....

I don't really have a firm opinion one way or the other as to whether the DoJ has been taking too long, not long enough or any other measure, so these out-of-the-blue announcements often tend to come as a surprise to me.

No doubt, I'll be reading some delicious print analyses very soon if the report is accurate.

... I would say the "special master" decision means DOJ got farther away from indictment. Maybe he's considering a sealed indictment?

decision will hold up the investigation much. Hope that's true. Sorry, the name already escapes me, but he was quite impressive and believable.
