what will Secret Service do?

Is it possible the hesitation to arrest Trump arises from the Secret Service dilemma? It's not clear what his personal goons would do, if federal marshals approached the FPOTUS with handcuffs. Some say he would be followed to prison by SS - but what about the arrest itself?
Another loophole not contemplated by the founders or anyone else, until now!

1. If, and it's a huge If, any arrest would have been negotiated in my opinion to avoid a spectacle.

The SlobFather refuses the negotiated offer the Marshall's will show up with absolutely overwhelming force to stand down any SS foolish enough to stand for the SlobFather.

3. The SS may be some of our best intel on what all Trump is trying to get away with.

We assume he is surrounded by corrupted SS who are Trump worshippers. Very well could be that one of the guys there to protect him are spying on him for the justice department.

Their job is to protect the fpotus frm physical harm, not legal peril.

And no, whatever is chilling the doj to its bones has nothing to do with the ss.

The doj, if it ever does, would indict tfg in the courts, and wouldn't even stop to do more than give the ss a courtesy call when they move to serve tfg.

Now, regardless of what would happen toy you or me, tfg will get the suit and tie arraignment option, no mugshot, no booking and pre-arraignment detention. He will be given a time and place to voluntarily appear before a judge to be arraigned. Or his lawyer will be allowed to appear in his place if that is ever allowed at arraignments.

He will never see a holding cell. Bracelets will not be put on him.

Even if convicted, he won't be held in a regular prison. It will be much more like a quiet rest home.

So no, the ss won't fweak out and bar the doors.

6. We will never get the satisfaction of seeing the criminal arrested.

If the time ever comes, he will report to the appropriate facility, go through the minimal processes, then return to his palace under some form of house arrest that would probably allow him to continue his rallies. We are just watching a never ending movie with at least one cliff-hanger every week, but, with the modern twist, where it is the villain that always make the last second escape. It is all just food and circus to keep us busy while the government is restructured to get rid of those pesky democratic illusions once and for all.

They would be fascinated to know how they lived to 1865, when the Secret Service began.

The Secret Service wasn’t requested by Congress to protect presidents until 1901, after McKinley was assassinated.
