Take 4 minutes to watch South Carolina State Sen. Katrina Shealy (R) respond to the legislature removing exceptions for rape and incest in the states proposed abortion ban.
I think youre miscommunicating with God, or maybe youre just not communicating with him at all.

(32,084 posts)Sky Fairy and all that ilk. It's part of the reason this state is so fucked up.

(32,084 posts)The ones she is addressing are the same sort of Christofascists that are writing and passing these draconian laws across the country. She HAS TO speak in those terms in order to have even a remote chance of reaching these fucks, who think they're making these laws in the name of Gawd and Jeebus.

(13,516 posts)She did an excellent job explaining why its wrong to remove exceptions for rape and incest in the legislation they are proposing.

(4,041 posts)for her, her daughter, her granddaughters, or anyone else. She really stuck it to them, and had an effect in a way a liberal legislator could not.
I don't know what she meant when she said she is "pro-life." It's a matter of definition.
If a woman is say seven months pregnant, and the baby and mother are healthy, I wouldn't want that baby aborted. In cases like this, I'm certainly pro-life.
Should she be voted out? If we can. Let's get rid of all republicans.

(68,582 posts)some quotes...so mea culpa...She is to be admired. I believe there are many GOP women who don't believe Roe should be gone and hope they will vote for us in the midterm. K&R
