Of course there's talk, pro and con about Biden, but I was surprised to here Newsom mentioned in a context where it sounded like he was, of course, a possibility. I haven't heard about possibilities being discussed outside of that incident. Am I missing a hot topic?

(34 posts)I don't see another candidate coming up in such short amount of time and plus Biden says he is going to run in 2024. I will take him at his word. I like Newsome but he is Governor of a +30 Democratic state, he is untested candidate in the general election arena.

(15,437 posts)He said this around December, and he seems to be in the same good health now as then. If he stays well, my guess is that he officially announces that he's running for re-election in February. Just a guess, he might wait a little later.
