2. why does no one say: Shouldn't the raped person get to choose whether she sees the pregnancy as

a "blessing?" The raped person should have ALL the say in this matter. The FINAL say, it is JUSTICE, it is only fair. That seems common sense to me, same for incest and the life of the mother. The woman gets to decide.

another common sense POV that no interviewer seems to point out: rape is NOT about sex. It is not because someone is horny. It is about rage and control. Sadism and hatred. Rapes are not investigated/not taken seriously. Rape is winked at by men. Just like these abortion laws are not about "saving babies" that is clear. Women are not receiving quality birthing centers/prenatal care, post natal care. Children's health care is always underfunded and at risk.

As a consequence of these 17th century laws, they also need to restrict women's travel, track her travels, track her menstruation, criminalize miscarriage, and to make sure women are victims in all matters pregnant, they want to suppress contraception/sex education even more than they are now.

Too many children keeps poor women in poverty, prevents them from furthering their education and careers. Makes them helpless and dependent. Why would any society want that?
