My least favorite CNN host Jake Tapper, framed the appeal by DOJ as "fighting over secrets". Stupid lazy analysis as is his wont, with a gigantic dose of both siderism.
Even Barr and Ty Cobb (trump's old lawyer) recognize that the DOJ appeal is well written and correct.
Then he went off on MSNBC (by name) because some hosts called out Elie (don't remember his last name) for his legal analysis, which has been very right wing and pro-trump lately. He asked Elie if they had apologized to him.
The banality and childishness is only topped by the desperate attempt not to anger their right wing bosses.

(11,276 posts)They must have foreseen the fall in political ad money with the Blue Tsunami coming and wanted to make it appear close. Anything for a buck. Right now I don't think they are getting what they hoped for. They lost me when they immediately treated Joe so poorly.

(17,066 posts)The panels on Tapper's show have always been cringeworthy, but now they have permission to go full FAUX. And they are. Apparently they suggested that Biden invite TFG to the Queen's funeral. Really weird.
