CA: Prop 32 going down in flames.

Opposition to a controversial campaign finance ballot measure has grown over the last six weeks and now outnumbers support by 16 percentage points, according to a new Field Poll.

Of the likely voters surveyed last month, 50 percent said they'll vote no on Proposition 32, up six points from September. On the other side, 34 percent intend to vote yes, compared with 38 percent a month earlier. The other 16 percent remain undecided.

The gap between yes voters and no voters has more than doubled to 16 percentage points since September. Such trends tend to strengthen in the final days of an election cycle, said poll director Mark DiCamillo.

"Odds are that this will be defeated," he said.

and of course others like league of women voters which have crediblity.

i guess one good thing with having so many of these propositions is that people seem to have learned to look to certain sources they trust rather than just the ads.

So unfair - if Koch etc wins they make all the money back.

If the unions, etc. win they've spent millions.

We had two democratic/union groups canvessing with voter guide information over the past three days, and the unions are having people out on major streetcorners with "no on 32" (and "yes on 30&quot twirly-signs early this morning for the go-to-work commute. And probably tomorrow morning.
