56 days until Midterm Election Day!
September 13 (Today):
Delaware, New Hampshire, Rhode Island primaries
Primary season ends (except Louisiana)
Begin General Election Season
IMPORTANT: its crucial that everyone read well ahead on these dates, as there are many received-by dates that could be missed if one waits until the last minute. For example, in Louisiana the absentee ballot request deadline is only 3 days before the absentee ballot deadline, so one has to mail something in TWICE in the last week before Election Day. I would advise starting the process at least two weeks before the deadlines. Remember, were dealing with DeJoys postal system!
