Repubs seeking donations from the elderly.
They strongly seek out the elderly, especially those susceptible to tearjerking, desperate pleas for patriots.
If you are confused and send money several times, they love you even more.
-------------------------- .
My friend (82) donated to several republican politicians and causes.
Not big money but it got her name on their mailing lists.
She gets at least (at least) a dozen emails every day begging for money with dire consequences if you don't send them some bucks.
Always URGENT!
Some are whining that they are being outspent.
What they don't mention is that often, their own party has stopped supporting them financially.
Lots of praise of how great a patriot/supporter/fine person you are.
Even a title like king/queen of the organization of the day.
Donnie Jr wants to add your name to the top of the list so he can send it to his Daddy.
Wonder how many names can fit on the top?
Many times, giving you the opportunity for someone to supposedly match your donation 7x, 10x, 13x, even 15x.
All you have to do to claim this fantastic opportunity is ---- send money.
It's supposedly a great honor bestowed upon you to claim this 'benefit'... send money.
Some are 'surveys', seeking your valuable opinions, always resulting in... send money.
She got 20 such emails just today.

[DELETE AFTER READING]
Attached is the GOP memo we sent to our team concerning the fate of the elections. ________, as a top Trump patriot we need to loop you in as well. You have 10 minutes to read & then delete:

It's a rare day when she gets less than 1/2 inch of regular mail.
Mostly political requests and charity requests.
Sometimes as much as 2 1/2 inches of mail.

My cousin retired from a bank:::
At least she can delete the emails or unsubscribe. I remember a customer I had not long before I retired. She was an older lady, in her 80's, and very much a Republican supporter. She had a lot of trouble with her checking account, and I often helped her balance her checkbook. I noticed that she had made out checks to many Republican political organizations month after month! She said they needed the money or they wouldn't have sent her a letter in the mail. I tried to explain to her that her $10 (or $20 or whatever) check wasn't going to make a difference in their "campaign". I finally asked her to bring me the latest mail she'd received before sending any more checks. She brought in a stack of around 25 envelopes, only two of which were for utility bills. The rest were political "send me money!" letters. She already had checks made out to them. We had a very long talk, and she finally allowed me to destroy all the political letters and the checks she'd made out. I'd like to think she finally realized how much money she was "spending" for no gain. It was a very sad case of how these often fraudulent organizations can brainwash people into sending money to not necessarily legitimate organizations.
