So, the 78-year-old Special Master has til Nov 30th to finish review

1) does he even have the necessary clearance to view them all? If not, how long will it take to do so, and will.it trigger an extension to the deadline?

2) will he (and any helpers he has) be required to wear gloves while handling the records, to preserve forensic evidence?

3) he's 78. If he should die, how much more time to start over?

It is pretty fucking clear to me what is happening: delay until after mid-terms to prevent Dems from keeping the House; if the Rs take the House, they'll abuse that power and throw obstacles galore--"the likes of which we've never seen before"--to thwart this (and other) investigation. Hard to emphasize how much I dispise what I see happening.

This case will be appealed all the way to SCOTUS.

BTW, how would a Republican congress interfere with the DOJ investigating and prosecuting Trump’s crimes? They could grandstand all they want, but they have no power to stop the DaoJ.

because the Senate lacks the votes to convict, and for draconian legislation they try to push through, the President has the power to veto.

It is still critical that we do everything to maintain the majority especially in the Senate, so judges can be appointed that would undo the damage that has been done to our country

but Cannon's order allows Trump's counsel to witness the vetting.

So Rudy or Sydney Powell (who do not have the proper clearances) will attempt to view the classified documents. The DOJ will object. Further delays ahead.

Let's hope the whole ruling is overturned on appeal. SCOTUS (even with it's partisans) has already shown their skepticism about TFG's Executive Privilege claims.
