I was just reading the DU headlines and I realized 7 of them are Demonstrations of Republican cruelty.
For me it's gone beyond the point of disliking republicans, Or even fearing them, comma unto the point where I'm questioning why do I'm questioning why do we put up with them? Mark they demonstrate over and over and over again that they hate everything that makes this country great. Our diversity, our compassion, Our creativity, Even our love. All they do is hate. What do we need a party of hate for?
I hope people beyond DU are paying attention to how dangerous these people are. I mean they're justhey are just no longer behaving with an ounce of humanity whatsoever. It's as if we're evolving to a better level of humanity, they come and they're devolving back to their animalistic nature.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of their babies started being born covered in hair🤷🏾♀️🤔
Forgive me if the photograph doesn't embed I don't know how to do that I keep trying different lengths until I figure it out I guess I could just ask.
Anybody know how to embed a photo around here, thanks💜

(33,643 posts)And chose 'copy image address' (I'm using Chrome on PC) ... then started a DU post and hit 'paste' into it.
Once I saw the URL I just pasted into the DU post had an extension of .jpg (.gif and .png I believe also work on DU), I previewed, confirmed the pic was displaying, and posted.

(33,643 posts)By virtue of how the website you're trying to grab a pick to post are set up. Many times, you just can't.
But this was not one of those instances, it was a nice clean URL that ended in one of the recognized (by DU software) image filename extensions (.jpg in this case) so DU handled it fine and displayed the actual pic rather than the link.
Basically I got this link, but without the space that I manually added before .jpg in order to get DU to show a link instead of the actual photo:
https://i.postimg.cc/Sxr3ZfyZ/Screenshot-20220916-113252-Chrome. jpg
That's kind of link to a photo that DU will understand and show a picture instead of text (minus the space I added).

He gave up on "changing hearts and minds"
Make justice THE LAW, not a mere suggestion.
Thank You!!

If you're tired of hearing it from me, this is from the epilogue of "Stamped From the Beginning", by Ibram X Kendi.
This is of course, about racism, but racism is the engine of the Repugnant party.
Emphasis mine:
Protesting against racist power and succeeding can never be mistaken for seizing power. Any effective solution to eradicating American racism must involve Americans committed to antiracist policies seizing and maintaining power over institutions, neighborhoods, counties, states, nationsthe world. It makes no sense to sit back and put the future in the hands of people committed to racist policies, or people who regularly sail with the wind of self-interest, toward racism today, toward antiracism tomorrow. An antiracist America can only be guaranteed if principled antiracists are in power, and then antiracist policies become the law of the land, and then antiracist ideas become the common sense of the people, and then the antiracist common sense of the people holds those antiracist leaders and policies accountable.
And that day is sure to come. No power lasts forever. There will come a time when Americans will realize that the only thing wrong with Black people is that they think something is wrong with Black people. There will come a time when racist ideas will no longer obstruct us from seeing the complete and utter abnormality of racial disparities. There will come a time when we will love humanity, when we will gain the courage to fight for an equitable society for our beloved humanity, knowing , intelligently, that when we fight for humanity, we are fighting for ourselves. There will come a time. Maybe, just maybe, that time is now.
Any time spent griping about things you and I can't control or influence takes away from things you CAN influence, namely ELECTIONS. That's the purpose of disinformation: to disempower you by focusing on people, and things you can't possibly control or even influence. And when that happens, they have won.
PLEASE focus your energy on winning.
