This is a photo of a group called “Blacks for Trump.” Posing next to them are members of the White Nationalist group called the “Proud Boys.” Some are holding up ‘White Power’ signs. People are entitled to vote against their own interests — but this is quite the juxtaposition.

29. One of my black coworkers likes Trump.

I overheard him agreeing with a white MAGAt at work that Trump "actually won" the last election, and this country would be in great shape if it wasn't "stolen" from him.

I wondered if he was trolling the white idiot, so I asked him the next day (during break) if he really supported Trump. He said that he did!

It's a large building, and we don't work in the same area. So I don't talk to him often, but only occasionally during breaks.

My impression of him is that he's very poorly educated, religious, and very prone to believing crazy conspiracy theories.

After Queen Elizabeth died, he told me to look up a naked child who tried to escape from the royal palace by climbing down bed sheets that he tied together... before falling to his death. He said something like, "Those people in power are doing all kinds of sick stuff!"

I later Google-searched it, and it only took me about 5 seconds to realize it was BS! Here's a Snopes article about it actually being part an advertisement for a TV show:

MOST of my coworkers (at a factory) have a Southern accent, by the way! I sometimes feel like yelling, "Go back where you came from, you stupid redneck!" But I never do that, of course. I operate a computer-controlled specialty machine all day, rarely interacting with anyone while doing it, and I hope to keep it that way. I don't want to talk to most of my coworkers since it has become clear that I'm not going to learn anything from the majority of them.
