Big from Dearie:
He presses Trumps lawyers on what hes supposed to do. The government provided prima facie evidence of classification, ie, the markings.
As far as Im concerned, thats the end of it.

By saying he declassified docs, Trump put his lawyers "in the position where they have no good answer," former FBI counsel Andrew Weissmann tells me. If they won't say he did, it confirms theyre clearly classified, and clearly belong to the government.

(13,541 posts)Dearie, she should be investigated. Thought I read earlier today she set the rules for the master to where she can get rid of him if she wants. Dont know if thats true. She should not be allowed to do that.

(19,104 posts)This is getting into the idea that attorney client privilege does not apply if they're committing crimes together. Trump's lawyer writing notes about the classified materials is evidence of a crime if they're classified, because the lawyer shouldn't have been viewing them.
Seems like a separate issue from Trump's crime of stealing the documents in the first place.

(20,721 posts)time to indict him for illegally removing classified docs, and it also means they can't possibly be his property. So, idiotformerguy loses, right? DOJ then, needs to be told they can go ahead with the material and ignore the entire special master waste-of-time????

(2,947 posts)to block tfg's delay tactics once he is arrested and so are seeking specific court rulings on issues such as classified docs, etc., before arresting tfg. Otherwise, tfg would be out on bail for years while appeals on these issues wind their way thru the courts.
