not clear, so hard to read and have no visual appeal at all. Have they not seen what a real professional can do when given the info and told to go to work?

and it depends on the publication, but we called them cartographers. Sorry, but those charts are not good. Here are examples of what can be done...from a simple bar chart to more involved graphics, all with color added. Just give the artist the info and let him/her produce visually attractive, easily read work according to the size you give them.

Sorry. They're not. One shouldn't have to squint and try to follow a jaggedy line to a number in very small 4 point type. Professional graphic artists know how to direct the eye to easily find the info of the points the article is trying to make. I think 538 has a big enough budget to do better. Aren't they owned by the NYT?

What's wrong with people today, can't they see the truth? Guy shouldn't have more than half that.
Someone must be pouring a lot of money towards his campaign. Another good reason to get $$$$$
out of politics.
