Matt Gaetz says Republicans need “to be willing to shutdown the government” after the midterms and specifically mentioned defunding the “post office” and “the Department of Homeland Security.”

Steve Bannon said he plans to blame Biden for any shutdown.

I wonder if it would be okay for him to miss a few paychecks for failing to do his job? That assumes (in order of increasing unlikelihood), of course, that Rep. Gaetz wins re-election and Republicans gain the upper hand in the House and the Senate.

But isn't it nice how Gaetz tells everyone his evil plan, then Bannon goes a step further to say that he'll blame the Biden administration for Republicans' failure?
