2. Are the local authorities sending out the message?

I know people who live just south of Tampa Bay. In fact, I talked to them earlier today and they did not mention evacuating. They live about a mile from sea water.

3. Yes, they say it is a mandatory evacuation but,

they do not go door-to-door to the enforce it.

4. CNN says the storm surge could go that far in. It just builds and builds. Katrina was

storm surge mostly. Sandy too I think. The storm surge builds up when the hurricane is very strong and does not reduce as fast as the winds do when the hurricane becomes a lesser category storm. And Hurricane Ian is building again.

5. Yesterday I

mentioned on another social media group that I heard Tampa would likely be hit by this hurricane. I had a guy answer me back (rather angrily) that his weather app for the last three days said it would only hit the panhandle of FL. I didn’t answer him back. Not worth my time.

6. Was paying attention to Fiona yesterday and this past weekend. Don't know if Ian was headed at the

time. Some people get set in their ways quite quick. Hurricanes can turn quickly. It may change yet again s it is only nearly over Cuba right now.

8. Yea Friday

it seemed like it was all about Fiona, then on Saturday and Sunday all of a sudden it was all about Ian.

9. Canadian News is still about Fiona. Storm surge was the most damaging. They

said the storm surge could be 30 feet. Don't know that it was. Lots of damage. 2 people died. So sad.

13. I take the wearther app on my phone with a shaker of salt. One day last

winter, it told me that it was 45 and snowing.

we had our annual convention, training...in a hotel along the beach...

I do not remember if the hotel was that much higher than the beach. I do not remember stairs or anything.

10. There is some potential good news. The storm is due to run into a strong cold front

about the same time as it nears the coast of Fl. Hopefully the cold dry air will weaken the storm before the storm drowns Tampa.

11. I live in Clearwater.

We left this morning and are in Georgia. We beat most of the traffic.

There will be a mess because the GOP legislature has made homeowners insurance impossible.
